★ Mizzou Football 2022 Season
During the 2022 season, I served as the interim creative director and sole full-time graphic designer for Mizzou Football, overseeing all creative output across social media, recruiting campaigns, in-game visuals, and large-scale branding initiatives. A major highlight of my tenure was designing the “Tiger Script” logo, a new brand element featured on official helmets and embraced by fans and media, which became a cornerstone of Mizzou Athletics visual identity.
I directed a student creative team, managing design output, photography, content planning, and workflow, while coordinating closely with coaches, recruits, and marketing leadership to translate strategy into impactful creative concepts. I orchestrated and executed recruiting photoshoots, media day shoots, and in-game photography, while also designing print media, large-scale assets such as the equipment truck, indoor facility decorations, field designs, in stadium wall decorations, and in-venue video board visuals at Faurot Field.
Each game week was treated as its own branded campaign, from game 1 to the Gasparilla Bowl Game. I collaborated with Head Coach Eli Drinkwitz, Director of Football Operations Andy Lutz, and Head of Equipment Mike Kurowski to align on the uniform for the week, and used that as the base of each game week. I would also connect with Kurowski for apparel designs, and uniform needs for all photoshoots. I led the creation of all lead-up, pregame, and in-game assets, developed templates for efficiency, and worked with Gordon Meier, Head of Video, to execute uniform reveal videos and branded in game videos. For recruiting, I coordinated with Director of Recruiting Operations Olivia Ohlsen to brand official visits, produce season-long recruiting materials, and execute the full 2022 National Signing Day rollout.
I also collaborated with Mikayla Schlosser and Jaydyn Jenaya, Mizzou Athletics Photography Leads, for studio shoots, uniform reveals, and live in-game photography support. Beyond production, I built the team infrastructure by hiring three student interns and onboarding Patrick Perala, who is now the current Creative Director for Mizzou Football. Highlights include designing the 2023 season poster distributed statewide and leading cross-functional creative efforts that elevated the Mizzou Football brand across all platforms and touchpoints.
Following is a collection of my favorite Mizzou football social graphics.

Game week posters, posted every Monday in anticipation for the upcoming game. Home games had Mizzou color backgrounds, away games had black and white.
Gameday posters - all with their own theme: uniform based, homecoming, Halloween spooky, military, even game 11 has a winter feeling because it was forecasted to snow.
Preseason captains announcement.
Halftime graphics were photo based with game photos live transmitted from the on field photographers.
Quarter score update graphics were based on the background of the game week graphic.
Post game graphics were prepared in game with key players. Multiple versions always prepared per game outcome for quick turn at EOG.
Game Week case study: Homecoming vs Vanderbilt
Monday: Collaborate with Head Coach Eli Drinkwitz, Director of Football Operations Andy Lutz, and Head of Equipment Mike Kurowski on the chosen uniform for the week - decided weekly by captains and coaching staff. Athletes are chosen for uniform reveal photo and video shoot.
I developed the game week branding by drawing inspiration from key factors such as uniforms, game themes, and even weather. Mizzou’s homecoming holds special significance, credited with hosting the first-ever homecoming in 1911. This year’s theme, 'Paint the Town Gold,' made the game week branding easy.
Game Week graphic is posted Monday morning, highlighting time and network as well as opponant and any theme for the game.
Tuesday: I directed all photoshoots for uniform reveal. This week against Vanderbilt, I wanted a “Saturday Under the Lights” full gameday feeling to celebrate homecoming! As a former college cheerleader - I understand the importance of all the moving parts of a gameday and the effort that goes into every detail.
I orchestrated two cheer couples, four Golden Girl dances, six band members, and Mizzou’s mascot Truman the Tiger for this shoot. Stadium shoots were always a big ordeal - having to work with ops for the lights and videoboard graphics, so this was one of the bigger shoots I had directed with many moving parts.
Photo and video shoot execution! A level of secrecy implied for this shoot as well, as it was a new helmet reveal.
Wednesday: Planning and creation of Gameday poster and all other gameday assets with shoot collateral.
We posted a Homecoming Wallpaper Wednesday
With a new helmet reveal for homecoming, we also had a short teaser go out on Wednesday.
Thursday: The uniform reveal video was posted! This week’s helmet featured the vintage 'Sailor Tiger' logo, a longtime fan favorite that hadn’t been used in years. The reveal generated significant excitement for both the school and its fans.
Since the helmet was such a large focus for the week, I also created a “Sailor Tiger” helmet logo, used for profile pics for the week and implemented on the rest of the graphics and videos for Homecoming.
Friday: All gameday assets are prepped internally! Hype video posted for fans Friday morning.
I was fortunate enough to connect with the head traffic controller at the Columbia, MO airport Cole Finley, who is a massive Mizzou fan. He coordinated a small charter plane for us creatives, photographer and designer Nate Samel, video Gordon Meier and myself, to take aerial photo and video of the stadium!
The following photo was taken by me! And posted the Friday of this game for hype and as a reminder to wear Gold for the game.
Saturday morning: Gameday poster is posted first thing. Tigers vs Vandy under the Saturday night lights! Since the uniform reveal was video focused this week, we posted a photo from the shoot with the Gameday poster. Ennis Rakestraw, Jr., DB.
Saturday Game Time: Quarter graphics corresponding to Game Week graphic, updated with live transmitted game graphics.
Halftime graphics are photo based with the most exciting photo/moment from the first half, freshman WR Luther Burden had a phenominal first half this game, in addition to the Gold elements in this photo which fit perfectly with the other graphics of the week.
Saturday Post Game: Win graphic is posted immediately following the game across all socials. The win graphics were always created with a live transmitted game photo.
Sunday: A “Tigers of the Week” graphic is posted every Sunday, highlighting key players from the day before.
For our Bowl Game, the Gasparilla Bowl in Tampa, FL, I wanted to make sure the creative stood out, as it was Mizzou’s first bowl game in 5 years. I made the assets very Florida, of course, but also implemented motion graphics. It was held in the Tampa Bay Buccaneer’s stadium, so their pirate ship was also featured in the creative.
